What Medq is
Medq is a software-as-a-service platform for healthcare practice administration. The Service is currently offered in Early Access: it is operational and commercially available, but operated by a small team. We meet our legal obligations in full and are honest about the scale of the operation.
Free trial and subscription
New customers receive a 30-day free trial with access to standard features. No payment information is required to start the trial. Toward the end of the trial we prompt you to enter payment details to continue. If you do not, the account becomes read-only for 14 days (for export) and is then deactivated.
Pricing
After the trial: €25 per month per active calendar (the Agenda module), billed on a per-day basis based on actual usage, with no monthly cap. The optional Waiting Room screen add-on is €10 per month per screen. All other features are available without charge during Early Access. All prices exclude VAT.
Billing and VAT
Fees are invoiced monthly or annually as selected. Belgian VAT at the applicable rate applies for Belgian customers. For EU business customers outside Belgium with a valid VAT identification number, the reverse-charge mechanism applies. Late payment is governed by the Belgian Law of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions.
Availability and support
We target 99.5% monthly availability for the production Service. Routine maintenance is scheduled on Sundays 02:00–05:00 Europe/Brussels. Support is provided by email at support@medq.be and via the in-product support form, Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00 Europe/Brussels, in Dutch, French, or English. No service credits apply during Early Access.
Cancellation, refund, and data export
You can cancel at any time. Your data remains available in read-only mode for 30 days after cancellation, during which you can export everything in CSV or JSON. After this period, data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement. No exit fees, no lock-in.
Liability
Each party's total aggregate liability is capped at the greater of (a) fees paid by you to Medq in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €1,000. Liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and any liability that cannot lawfully be limited under Belgian law, is not excluded or limited.
